This is Lisa. Lisa leads a life of stress.
Lisa has a lot on her plate; school, work, bills, deadlines… she even stresses over
her lack of sleep. Everyday, Lisa’s pressures overload her life
until she feels overwhelmed…even when it’s still early in the day. It seems that stress
manages Lisa, instead of Lisa managing her stress.
Can Lisa change this? The answer is YES! And so can you! Remember,
you’re not alone. Everyone deals with stress. You have to learn
to distinguish good types of stress from the bad, as well as handle and manage your time
effectively. Whether your stresses are internal or external,
the key to a healthy lifestyle is balance and moderation of your stress levels. Bring order to your life by prioritizing your
tasks. One example to avoid high levels of tension is to set realistic and achievable
goals. If you add a few of these strategies to your daily routine and find they are not
helping, consider reaching out to a professional to help you consider your next course of action.
